NEW COMMIT: The new coaching staff at Auburn University have earned a new verbal commitment from junior Hannah Mattson. The Georgia native would join the Tigers in the fall of 2019.

At the 2018 GHSA 1-5A State Swimming & Diving Championships, Mattson tied for first in the 100 free (50.98) and took home second in the 200 free with a 1:50.41. When she’s not representing Brookstone High School, Mattson is a member of the Columbus Aquatic Club in southern Georgia.

Mattson announced via social media,

“So excited to announce my verbal commitment to swim and study at Auburn University!!! A huge thanks to all my coaches, friends, and family for their love and support over the years. WAR EAGLE!!”
