Germantown’s Richard Shoulberg Speaks to SwimmingWorld.TV After Easterns

PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania, February 26. AFTER an incredible meet for both his men's and women's teams at the 2012 Eastern Interscholastic Swimming and Diving Championships, Germantown head coach Richard Shoulberg took part in an in-depth 10-minute interview with SwimmingWorld.TV.

Shoulberg talks with Tiffany Elias about not only Rachel Zilinskas and Arthur Frayler's impressive 500-yard freestyle victories at Easterns, he also talks more about Fran Crippen and his sister, Claire. Shoulberg states that he believes FINA still has not done enough to guarantee that open water swimming is a safe sport with rules, and not just suggestions. On a lighter note, Shoulberg talks about the positivity Claire brings to the Germantown family as an assistant coach with both the physical education program as well as aquatics.
