Georgia Tech Tabbed To Host 2015 Atlantic Coast Conference Championships

ATLANTA, Georgia, November 8. THE Atlantic Coast Conference recently announced future championship sites, with Georgia Tech being tapped as the host for the 2015 ACC Swimming & Diving Championship at the GT Aquatic Center.

One of the nation’s premier aquatic facilities, the GT Aquatic Center was home to the swimming & diving competition for the 1996 Summer Olympic Games, and hosted the 2006 NCAA Men’s Swimming & Diving National Championship. The ACC Swimming & Diving Championship has called Georgia Tech home three times – 2005, 2008 and 2011.

It was previously announced that Georgia Tech is among the finalists to host the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships between 2015 and 2018. The NCAA’s announcement is expected in December.

Additionally, Atlanta (GT Aquatic Center) and Indianapolis are the two finalists to host the United States Olympic Diving Trials in 2016. That announcement is also expected in December. Tech will host the NCAA Zone Diving Championship in 2015.
