He also swims for Saint Anthony’s High School, the 2016 New York State Federation Champions and the 2016 New York Catholic High School swimming and diving champions. With his high school he was a 2016 All-American in the 200 medley and 400 freestyle relays.

The USA Swimming Scholastic All-American was a winter Juniors finalist in the 200 freestyle. His best times are:

  • 200 Free 1:39.20
  • 200 Fly 1:51.38
  • 200 IM 1:53.09
  • 100 Fly 50.17

Stange said of his decision,

“I chose Georgetown for its rising swim team, world-class academic opportunities, and outstanding location. I look forward to swimming with this tight-knit group and incredible coaching staff for the next four years. Go Hoyas!”

At the 2016 Big East Conference Championship, Stange would have finished third in the 200 freestyle and 200 butterfly. He would also have been a 200 IM B finalist.
