FSU Seminoles Keep Florida 4A Finalist Jack Hall In State For Fall 2022

NEW COMMIT: Florida State University has scored another verbal commitment for the 2022-23 season and beyond from in-state standout Jack Hall of Jacksonville, Fla.

He will join Jaydon Cunningham and Sam Bork in Tallahassee as a member of the Seminoles’ Class of 2026.

Regarding his commitment, he said:

“I am excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at Florida State University! I’d like to thank all of my family, friends, and coaches for supporting me throughout this journey. Go Noles!”

A versatile freestyler and IMer, Hall does his club swimming with the Bolles School Sharks and most recently earned a pair of best times at the Mizuno Atlantic Classic this past weekend after a stellar showing at the Florida Senior Championships in March. He also finaled in four events at the Florida OT Qualifier in February 2020.

His best times include:

  • 100 free – 45.36
  • 200 free – 1:38.79
  • 500 free – 4:29.03
  • 1650 free – 15:48.63
  • 100 fly – 50.84
  • 200 IM – 1:54.78

Also competing for Atlantic Coast High School, Hall is a four-time individual Florida 4A State Championship finalist. He placed fourth in the 200 free and fifth in the 500 free as a junior while taking 10th and 16th, respectively, in those events during his sophomore season.

Under head coach Neal Studd, the Seminoles finished fifth overall in the team standings at the 2021 ACC Championships.
