French Short Course Records Downed Over Weekend

SAINT-DIZIER, France, November 19. OVER the weekend, three French short course records fell by the wayside at a meet in Saint-Dizier, France.

Fred Bousquet clocked times of 22.96 and 51.00 in the 50 and 100 butterfly. He broke his record of 23.06 in the 50 fly set during the Stockholm stop of the World Cup, and cleared his standard of 51.18 in the 100 fly set in Dunkerque in 2001.

Meanwhile, Diane Bui Duyet posted a time of 25.57 in the women's 50 fly to wipe out her 25.76 set at the Stockholm stop of the World Cup.
