GREENSBORO- Jessica Thielmann was a standout Florida Gator at 2015 NCAAs. Junior Thielmann took fifth in the 500 free on night one and was the only Gator to final on day one. On the final night, she raced home to a third place finish in the 1650 free, just .22 behind Cal’s Cierra Runge. Her time of 15:46.68 was solid, but was a little off the UF school record she’s been eyeing.

She chats with Swimming World about her mile race strategy, the Florida Gators’ showing, and watching her best friend Natalie Hinds take third in the 100 free.
