Five-Star Adam Brown Coming to NCAA in January

CAMBRIDGE, United Kingdom, October 30. SWIMMING World five-star recruit Adam Brown, who had previously been slated to start at Auburn this semester will not be coming to the NCAA until January.

Brown, who owns times that would clear U.S. Olympic Trials cuts in the 50-meter free (22.75), 100-meter free (49.50) and 200-meter free (1:51.06), wound up holding off from joining Auburn this semester due to the Olympics. Brown, however, is excited to make an impact beginning in the spring semester.

"I have signed with Auburn because I think they have the best sprint program, which was proven by results in Beijing," Brown told Swimming World. "I am looking forward to working with coaches Richard Quick and Brett Hawke alongside teammates Matt Targett, Gideon Louw and fellow Brit Chris Fox."
