ROSEVILLE, California, June 12. ATTENDING a meet that holds her name, Summer Sanders learned that her family's home in Roseville, Calif. was struck by fire. The family home, owned by father Robert Sanders, sits in suburban Sacramento. No one was injured in the blaze and authorities are investigating the cause of the fire, which destroyed some of Summer Sanders' NCAA championship hardware. Sanders' four Olympic medals escaped damage as they are kept at her home in Utah.
