FINA World Short Course Championships: Felipe Silva Leads 50 Breast Semis

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, December 18. BRAZIL's Felipe Silva set the pace in the men's 50 breast at the FINA World Short Course Championships.

Silva cruised to a 26.22 to improve his third-ranked season best of 26.27 set at the Jose Finkel Trophy Meet. South Africa's Cameron van der Burgh posted a second-place 26.31, while The Netherlands' Robin van Aggele finished third in 26.41.

Italy's Fabio Scozzoli (26.46), USA's Mike Alexandrov (26.48), Russia's Aleksandr Triznov (26.54), South Africa's Roland Schoeman (26.66) and Norway's Aleksander Hetland (26.71) earned spots in the finale.
