Katinka Hosszu will look to complete her sweep of the individual medley’s with the women’s 200 IM final, but will have to hold off charging Americans Ella Eastin and Madisyn Cox on either side of her.
Chad le Clos and Tom Shields return to the pool for a second sprint butterfly showdown as the top two seeds in finals of the men’s 50 butterfly.
World record holder Etiene Medeiros and Ali DeLoof showdown in the women’s 50 backstroke as Medeiros will look to defend her championship title. Hometown favorite Kylie Masse returns as the second seed, but will have the crowd behind her as she searches for another medal.
The men’s 400 IM field hosts two swimmers from four countries giving the USA, Great Britain, Japan, and Hungary each a run at two spots on the medal podium.
Lilly King posted the fastest qualifying time in semi-finals of the women’s 100 breaststroke, but will have co-world record holder Alia Atkinson to fend off next to her.
