FINA Announces Men’s, Women’s Water Polo Tournament Draws for 2013 Worlds

BARCELONA, Spain, February 24. CONCLUDING the visit of the FINA Bureau to Barcelona (ESP), the draws for the men's and women's water polo tournaments of the 15th FINA World Championships taking place in the Catalan capital from July 19-August 4, 2013 were held today in the studios of TVE (the Host Broadcaster of the competition) in Sant Cugat and were broadcasted live.

Conducted by Gianni Lonzi, Chairman of the FINA Technical Water Polo Committee, the results of the draw were as follows:

MEN'S TOURNAMENT

With the same occasion (but without live broadcast), were also held the draws for the 2013 FINA World Junior Water Polo Championships, taking place in Szombathely (HUN — Men, August 12-18) and in Volos (GRE — Women, August 18-24). The results of the draw and the complete schedule of the preliminaries are also available of the FINA website www.fina.org (section Events, Water Polo Juniors Draw).
