Eugene Godsoe Releases Dance Track “Punch It,” Invites Listeners To “Dance Like a Crazy Person”

STANFORD, California, October 1. EUGENE Godsoe continues to expand his musical horizons, releasing a new track Tuesday titled “Punch It.”

Godsoe said in a Tweet that it would appeal to those who “like dancing like a crazy person sometimes.” It’s the third track that he’s released since turning toward the electronic dance music (EDM) genre last month. Godsoe, a world championship silver medalist in the 50 butterfly last summer, had previously been a YouTube sensation for his re-arranged covers of popular songs.

Godsoe continues to make an impact in the pool with several strong performances in the FINA World Cup. He’s also a volunteer assistant coach at Stanford University, where he is a distinguished alumnus with NCAA titles and several top finishes for the Cardinal.
