Day Four Finals Heat Sheets for World Junior Championships Posted

The heat sheets have been posted for the fourth day of finals at the FINA World Junior Championships in Indianapolis. The session begins at 6 p.m. ET.

The session will include eight championship finals and two semi-finals, and American Michael Andrew is the top seed in three of those races (men’s 50 free and 50 back finals plus 50 fly semi-final).

The first final of the night will be the men’s 200 breast, where Americans Daniel Roy and Reece Whitley are the top two seeds, while Japan’s Rikako Ikee is favored in the women’s 50 fly.

After already winning three relay golds, Canada will go for its first individual gold of the meet. with Faith Knelson holding down lane four in the women’s 100 breast final. Russia’s Anastasiia Kirpichnikova is seeded first in the women’s 400 free, and the USA’s Alex Walsh is top seed in the women’s 200 IM.

To end the night, the American men will be favored in the 800 free relay.

The only scratch out of the morning session came in the women’s 50 back semis, which open up the session. Canada’s Jade Hannah qualified first ahead of the USA’s Regan Smith, while Russia’s Anastasiya Shkurdai scratched after qualifying 15th.
