Daric Sundeen Signs with Wayland Baptist University

Daric Sundeen of Golden, Colo., has signed with the #T3 Wayland Baptist swimming and diving program as its first committed recruit for the class of 2021.

“I chose Wayland because the coaches are great, and I want to compete on a good swim team,” Sundeen said. “I am most excited about joining and being a part of the swim team.”

Coach Alyson Hannan said she is excited about Sundeen joining the Pioneers as an incoming freshman.

“He is going to make an impact from the beginning,” Hannan said. “Daric is a flyer, backstroke and freestyle. His current times have him already qualifying for nationals.”

Sundeen plans to major in psychology.
