Countryside YMCA Swim Coach Patrick Jeanneret Accused of Indecent Liberties

GREENSBORO, North Carolina, April 9. IF allegations prove to be true, one girl's pinnacle meet of the year, the YMCA Short Course Nationals in Greensboro, turned into a nightmare according to Cincinnati.com.

Patrick Jeanneret, a 30-year-old assistant swimming coach for the Countryside YMCA, “was arrested following an incident that was reported early Saturday in Greensboro.” Jeanneret, according to the report, has been a part-time paid assistant for the past two years at Countryside, but has been terminated by the club as of Monday.

“A girl was allegedly victimized early Saturday but details were undisclosed,” Cincinnati.com reported. “The girl is a team member whose parents were both in Greensboro for the meet, [Countryside CEO] Carroll said. Team members stay in a hotel together, separate from any parents who choose to attend, he said.”

Jeanerret has since posted $20,000 bail, and is free from the Greensboro jail.
