Welcome to Swimming World’s Set of the Week sponsored by Commit Swimming.com! This week’s set is a long course kick set that is a great set to include as part of a long course training trip. The focus on the set should be descending to the same pace throughout the set to the same pace that your athletes will ultimately try to hold on the 200 and 100 kick all out at the end of the set.

8 x 50 kick descend by 2
300 kick build each 100
3 x 100 kick descend 1-3
200 kick 50 easy/50 fast
1 x 200 kick all out
