City of Milan Trophy Meet Scheduled for Early February

MILAN, Italy, January 18. THE "Città di Milano Trophy" second edition is about to start. The big competition will take place at D. Samuele swimming pool on February the 3rd, 4th and 5th 2012.

Nuotatori Milanesi, Milano first swimming team, is hosting the second edition of the meeting that in 2011 got off great competition in the city.
Just few months ago big european athletes such as Pizzetti, Magnini, Dotto, Scozzoli, Orsi, Cavic, Jakabos, etc. tested their shape for FINA Shanghay World Championship 2011, entertaining the audience with great show and performances.

Nuotatori Milanesi is historically concerned not only with high level swimming competitions, but also with educating young people through sports. In fact, the third day of the event is totally dedicated to younger athletes.

Thanks to the partnership with great marks such as Gruppo Biancamano, TrueStar Group and MV Augusta, the "Città di Milano Trophy" is going to be, once more, one of the most important and relevant events of the year in the City. Not only high level sport, but also great show and entertainment.

Nuotatori Milanesi will line up its two best athletes and testimonials: Samuel Pizzetti (FINA Shanghay World Championship 2011 finalist, 2 medals at FINA Budapest European Championship 2010, FINA Rome World Championship 2009 finalist, FINA Olympic Games Beijing 2008 finalist) and Massimiliano Rosolino (60 medals at International level).

Great international athletes are participating to the event: according to FINA decision, the competition is eligible to gain qualification for the Olympic Games of London 2012.

The Big Champions Milorad Cavic, Evgeny Korotyshkin and Sergej Fesikov will perform during the event.
