China Dominates at Third FINA Diving Grand Prix Stop

MOSCOW, Russia, March 9. FOR the third straight stop of the FINA Diving Grand Prix circuit, China proved just why it is the top diving nation in the world. China won 10 medals with six of them being gold. Meanwhile, Russia picked up seven medals, two of the gold variety.

The first day witnessed China's Minghong Wu and Shixin Li win the men's three-meter synchro event with 421.77 points, while Lin Qu and Jun Dong pockted the women's three-meter synchro gold with 327.30 points on day two.

Ni Chen won the women's tower title with 340.35 points, while Russia's Alexander Dobroskok captured the men's three-meter with 499.45 points. Ni and partner Lindan Deng also won the tower synchro crown with 324.06 points on the third day.

The fourth and final day of diving had Russia's Aleksey Kravchenko taking the men's tower with 501.20 points, while Lin won the women's three-meter with 356.10 points. Yang Xiang and Huain Su also won the men's tower synchro with 447.75 points.
