Chief Development Officer of USA Swimming Foundation Steps Down

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado, July 8. IN the next step of the recent realignment going on at the USA Swimming Foundation, organization head Chris LaBianco has resigned as its Chief Development Officer. USA Swimming media relations confirmed LaBianco's resignation.

During his time at the Foundation, LaBianco was in charge of the fund development campaign of the Foundation. He has been a professional fundraiser for nearly two decades, previously working at his own philanthropic firm Changing Our World, Inc., that began in 2000.

LaBianco graduated from Fairleigh Dickinston University with a master's degree after swimming at Auburn University as well as captaining the team from 1991-92. LaBianco has since been active in the Masters swimming ranks since rejoining the sport as the Foundation's CDO.

Recently, the USA Swimming Foundation Board went through a radical realignment. This latest move is another demonstration of how much the Foundation has changed in the past six months.
