Chesapeake Elite Pro-Am: First Night In Books

OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma, December 16. THE first night of short course yard competition at the 19th annual Chesapeake Elite Pro-Am meet is in the books.

FAST's Emily Brunemann captured the women's 1000 free in 9:28.14, while RAC Aquahawk Jennifer Holtzen (9:55.77) and Wild West's Samantha Harding (10:03.91) finished out the podium.

Longhorn's Michael Klueh dominated the men's 1000 free with an 8:52.11. Mission Viejo's Janardan Burns took second in 9:14.68, while Houston's Jake Ritter earned third-place honors in 9:16.02.

SMU's Jessica Schaewecker, Maroua Mathlouthi, Genevieve Konicke and Emily Vavourakis won the women's 200 medley relay in 1:45.54, while Schroeder's Adam Mania, Casey Murphy, Kevin Ewald and Carl Newenhouse topped the men's 200 medley relay in 1:34.31.

FAST's Kristalyn McAfee, Alexandra Lakota, Anna Linkenauger and Julia Anderson claimed the women's 800 free relay in 7:28.61, while Mission Viejo's Alejandro Cisneros, Janardan Burns, Logan Redondo and Patrick Simpkins took home the men's 800 free relay title in 6:51.95.
