Canadian Summer Open Championships: Day Three Finished

POINTE-CLAIRE, Canada, July 23. THE Canadian Summer Open Championships concluded a third day of long course meter swimming with another evening of racing.

Lindsay Delmar won the women's 400 free to start the third day with a 4:15.38. Bridget Coley earned second in 4:16.91, while Sherry Liu finished third in 4:17.92. Jeremy Bagshaw followed with a 3:54.85 to win the men's 400 free. Benoit Debast touched a close second in 3:54.96, while Hassaan Abdel-Khalik took third in 3:55.01.

Noemie Thomas claimed the women's 100 fly in 59.65, while Erin Miller (1:00.00) and MacKenzie Downing (1:00.32) picked up second and third. Medhy Metella clocked a 53.86 to win the men's 100 fly. Jake Tapp took second in 54.06, while Jordan Coelho wound up third in 54.26.

Dominique Bouchard earned the women's 200 back crown in 2:11.54. Hilary Caldwell finished second in 2:12.64, while Marie Jugnet touched third in 2:12.81. Alexis Carbol touched out Matthew Swanston, 2:02.34 to 2:02.36, in the men's 200 back. Mathias Gydesen pocketed third in 2:02.52.

Tera van Beilen won the women's 50 breast in 31.49, while Ashley McGregor took second in 31.87. Amanda Reason finished third in 32.23. Giacomo Perez Dortona cleared 28 seconds to win the men's 50 breast in 27.95. Jason Block (28.43) and Jake Armstrong (28.64) completed the podium.
