California’s Patrick O’Neil Takes 200 Fly Crown

MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota, March 17. CALIFORNIA's Patrick O'Neil took home the 200 butterfly title in 1:42.98. The win is California's sixth in the event, but first since Ugur Taner won the event three straight years from 1994-96.

Auburn's John Scott placed second in 1:43.47, while Georgia's Gil Stovall finished third in 1:43.54.

Auburn continued to munch points, with 482 for first. Stanford moved to second with 367 points, while Arizona (337), Florida (297) and Texas (267) comprised the rest of the top five.
