California Sets NCAA, U.S. Open Record in 400 Medley Relay

FEDERAL WAY, Washington, February 24. THE California Golden Bears closed out the evening of the Pacific 12 Swimming and Diving Championships with an NCAA and U.S. Open record in the women's 400-yard medley relay.

Cindy Tran (51.38), Caitlin Leverenz (58.02), Sara Isakovic (51.47) and Liv Jensen (47.39) clipped the NCAA and U.S. Open record with a 3:28.26. That effort shaved the NCAA and U.S. Open record of 3:28.31 set by Arizona back in 2009. That swim remains the American record as Sara Isakovic is from Slovenia.
