California Capital Aquatics Becomes Newest Team Partner with Swimming World Magazine

PHOENIX, Arizona, April 25. SWIMMING World Magazine welcomes its newest Team Partner, California Capital Aquatics (CCA) from Roseville, Calif. The club recently joined out Team Partnership program.

CCA head coach George French brings 87 families to the partnership, allowing the club access to all of our standard team partnership programs like TYR's Age Group Swimmer of the Month, Speedo's American Relay, our goodie bag program, RSS feed, team fundraising and more.

French leads the CCA team with solid credentials in the swimming world. He is a graduate of San Jose State University with a major in physical education and received a Standard Life Secondary Teaching Credential.

He also has developed many Olympic, World, American, NCAA and High School record holders and champions, in addition to coaching swimmers in four Olympic Trials during his career.

Some of these swimmers include:
Jane Abraham
Competed in the World Games in East Germany, 100 and 200 freestyle US National finalist

Terri Baxter
First place qualifier in the 200 breaststroke for the Moscow Olympic Games

Steve Baxter
US and NCAA National Finalist in 100 and 200 butterfly and 200 individual medley

Mike Brunner
Olympic and American record holder in the 100 and 200 butterfly

Tim McDonnell
Middle and long distance freestyle US National Qualifier and Champion

John Naber
Four gold medals and one silver medal in Montreal Olympic Games, along with several World, Olympic, American and NCAA records in the 100 and 200 backstroke

Jeff Stites
US Olympic Team – Water Polo, and US and NCAA National Finalist in the 100 and 200 backstroke
