Caeleb Dressel Becomes First Man to Break 18 in 50 Free; Smashes Records

Florida senior Caeleb Dressel became the first man to break 18 seconds in the 50 free leading off the 4×50 free relay at the men’s NCAA championships. Dressel posted a time of 17.81, annihilating the previous American and NCAA record of 18.11 he set in the prelims of the individual event.

Florida ended up winning the relay in 1:14.39. A full recap of that event is to come.
