The second weekly CAA swimming and diving awards of the season were announced on Wednesday
with four student-athletes honored.

Towson swept the respective Men’s and Women’s Swimmer of the Week awards as junior Jack Saunderson and senior
Jacy Icard were recognized, while UNCW swept the weekly diving honors after freshman Seth O’Dea and junior Adyson
Lowe impressed on both boards over the weekend.

MEN’S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK: Jack Saunderson • Towson

Junior | Laurel, Md.

Saunderson opened his junior campaign with a pair of wins in his go-to events, the 100 and 200-yard butterfly, as the
Tigers came up just short in their season opener at Georgetown. The defending CAA Men’s Swimmer of the Year and
2017 title holder in both individual fly events timed 49.15 in the 100, and 1:47.47 in the 200, with his latter time currently
ranking second in all of Division I for the event so far this season.

MEN’S DIVER OF THE WEEK: Seth O’Dea • UNCW

Freshman | Fairfax, Va.

O’Dea helped UNCW defeat Old Dominion over the weekend at home, earning wins on both boards for the Seahawks.
The freshman scored 252.62 on the 1-meter and 291.90 on the 3-meter en route to winning his first career weekly CAA
honor.

WOMEN’S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK: Jacy Icard • Towson

Senior | Frederick, Md.

Icard and the Tigers captured 10 of 14 events last weekend in a season-opening victory at Georgetown, with the senior
winning two individual races along with swimming a leg on the Tigers’ winning 200-yard medley relay team (1:47.03). She
captured first place in the 100 back in 57.41 and completed the 200 back with a winning time of 2:05.26. Icard’s
performance in the 200 currently leads all CAA competitors for the event.

WOMEN’S DIVER OF THE WEEK: Adyson Lowe • UNCW

Junior | Huntersville, N.C.

In similar fashion with O’Dea, Lowe helped the Seahawk women defeat ODU at home with a team sweep on both boards.
The junior turned in a second-place finish on the 1-meter (247.57) and won the 3-meter with a score of 279.75.
