NEW COMMIT: Kenmore, N.Y. native Rachel Martin has announced her commitment to Loyola University Maryland and will suit up for the Hounds as a member of the class of 2024.
Her best times include:
- 50 free – 26.26
- 100 free – 58.06
- 100 breast – 1:10.08
- 200 IM – 2:17.78
She told Swimming World:
“I’m beyond excited and blessed to announce my commitment to further my academic and swimming career at Loyola University Maryland. Thank you to everyone who has helped get me to this point! Roll hounds!”
Martin does her club swimming with Buffalo Area Aquatic Club and most recently placed third in the 100 fly at the Clarence Dog Days of Winter meet after earning a best time in the 200 free at the Power Point Championships. A current senior at Nardin Academy, Martin finaled in the 200 breast at the Niagara SCY Championships last March and raced the 100m breast at the LCM version of the meet this past summer.
