Bowling Green State vs. Ball State

MUNCIE, Indiana, October 29. THE Ball State women's swimming & diving team improved to 3-0 with a 167-127 victory versus Mid-American Conference opponent Bowling Green Saturday afternoon at Lewellen Aquatic Center.
Ball State posted wins in eight of 16 events, with two Cardinals collecting a pair of individual event victories.
Senior swimmer Nicole Saulters (Highland, Ind./Highland) tallied a win in the 100 back (59.12) and also swam the first leg of the first place 200 medley relay, which clocked in at 1:46.94.

Sophomore Bridgette Ruehl (Lowell, Ind./Lowell) scored a victory in the 200 breast (2:22.51) after swimming the second leg of the 200 medley, while sophomore Haley Richter (Roanoke, Ind./Columbia City) tallied wins in the 100 fly (55.91) and the 200 IM (2:08.67) and also swam the third leg of the 200 medley.
Freshman Carlena Magley (Waterloo, Ind./DeKalb) posted a victory in the 50 free (24.73) and also swam the anchor for the 200 medley.

Senior diver Christina Riordan (Homewood, Ill./Homewood Flossmoor) also added first-place efforts on the one-meter (259.57) and three meter (270.30) boards.
Ball State continues MAC action as the Cardinals head to Akron, Ohio Saturday, Nov. 5 to face the Zips at 1 p.m.
