Fresh off the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, it is back to the regular season for conference teams.

But it is a pretty low-key week in the Big Ten after sweeping the ACC in the inaugural interconference battle.

Indiana will host an invitational, including in-state rival Purdue. The meet runs Thursday through Sunday at the Counsilman Billingsley Aquatic Center.

The Hoosiers are coming off of a particularly dominating performance at the ACC/Big Ten Challenge — especially the Indiana men.

Indiana was part of four winning relays during the two-day meet at Purdue this weekend. The Hoosiers also had eight individual victories.

Indiana’s Mohamed Samy (200 Free), Lilly King (100 Breast), Ian Finnerty (100 Breast) and Vini Lanza (200 Fly) all set the fastest times in the nation in their respective events on Sunday.

Here are the Indiana winners from the meet:

Zach Apple – 800 Free Relay (1:24.46)
Gabriel Fantoni – 800 Free Relay (1:24.46)
Ian Finnerty – 100 Breast (51.54)
Vini Lanza – 800 Free Relay (1:24.46), 200 Fly (1:42.67)
Mohamed Samy – 200 Free Relay (1:33.75), 200 Free (57.85)
Lilly King – 800 Free Relay (1:34.96), 100 Breast (57.85)

Purdue had some strong performances in its home pool during the challenge as well.

Jinq En Phee helped the Big Ten women register a 1-2-3 finish in the 100 breaststroke. She posted a Purdue season-best time of 59.93, good for sixth nationally this season. Phee is one of just two Boilermakers to eclipse one minute in the event. Sunday marked the first time she had accomplished that feat in a regular-season meet.

Nick McDowell posted a career-best time of 9:07.21 in the 1,000 freestyle, improving on his third-fastest time in program history.

Taite Kitchel posted an NCAA B Cut in the 200 butterfly, a Purdue season-best time of 1:58.74.

In other Big Ten action this week, Northwestern will host its annual TYR Invitational on Friday-Sunday.

Illinois will compete at the IUPUI invite on Friday and Saturday.

Rutgers will host Brown and LIU Brooklyn for a two-day meet on Friday and Saturday.

On Thursday and Friday, Michigan State, Nebraska and Minnesota will all compete at the Iowa diving invite. The Purdue divers also will compete at Texas this week.
