YORKTOWN, Indiana, October 15. The Tennessee Volunteers came through with a big get in the Class of 2015 tonight, literally, as 6-6 Kyle DeCoursey of Zionsville Swim Club pledged to head coach Matt Kredich tonight.

DeCoursey, who is ranked fourth in the State of Indiana by CollegeSwimming.com, has a 7-foot wingspan and is ready to make an impact for the Vols in Knoxville.

DeCoursey, who preps at Zionsville Community High School, is a diamond in the rough who continues to drop time, and should only get better as part of the Big Orange.

DeCoursey has a 20.59 in the 50-yard free and a 44.59 in the 100-yard free from this past year, while also dropping down to a 23.55 in the 50-meter free and 51.16 in the 100-meter freestyle events.

While those times are not stunning right now, they are when you consider that just two years ago, he sported a 22.71 as his best in the 50-yard free and a 51.38 in the 100-yard free.  He definitely continues to drop time, and should make even more noise by the time he gets to college.
