Beijing Water Cube Pools Now Filled With Water

BEIJING, China, January 11. ACCORDING to reporting by China.org.cn, the pools at the National Aquatics Center, more widely known as the Water Cube, have been filled with water.

According to the report, "the main construction has been finished and the inner decoration work is in the closing stage." The report, linked below, also has images of the water-filled pools.

Later this month, the facility will host the China Swimming Open as the test event for Beijing prior to the 2008 Beijing Games.
