Beijing Prepares Legal System Ahead of 2008 Olympic Games

BEIJING, China, June 21. ACCORDING to reports by The Associated Press, Chinese officials have instituted a separate court system for Olympic-related problems to be used throughout the 2008 Beijing Games.

"As the court that has jurisdiction over the Olympic village and the main Olympic venues, this court is of great significance and is responsible for the success of the Olympic games and for creating a favorable environment for the games," Tong Keke, a court official, said in a statement.
