BBC To Broadcast London Roar Matches In Upcoming International Swimming League

The BBC will broadcast all London Roar’s matches in the upcoming season 2 of the International Swimming League, the team based in the British capital has announced.

The British public broadcaster will show all Roar’s fixtures across their platforms including the BBC Sport website and BBC iPlayer and they will also cover the semi-finals.

It follows Thursday’s announcement that beIN SPORTS will broadcast in Turkey and France plus 24 countries in the Middle East and North Africa and 10 countries in Asia Pacific.

The ISL has also agreed a multi-year media rights deal with with CBS Sports to showcase the league’s events across CBS Sports platforms to the American audience.

The second season of the ISL is to be held in Budapest, Hungary, starting on 16 October and lasting five weeks, culminating in the semi-finals. The location and date for the final has yet to be announced although Tokyo has been mooted as a possible venue in late December.
