Dylan Nasser has committed to swim for Ashland University. Nasser is a senior at Colorado’s Valor Christian High School. He trains with Highlands Ranch Aquatics.

Nasser is a strong backstroker and IMer. His best times are:

  • 200 IM 1:55.34
  • 400 IM 4:06.47
  • 100 Back 52.46
  • 200 Back 1:51.64
  • 200 Free 1:43.51
  • 500 Free 4:39.73

The Division II program competes in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. At this year’s GLIAC meet Nasser would have been a three event scorer.

He would have been a 200 backstroke B finalist. The Eagles did not score any points in that event. In the 400 IM Nasser also would have been at the top of the B final. He’ll have one year to train with eighth place finisher Chris Georgiadis (4:05.41). Nasser would also be a B finalist in the 200 IM.

Nasser shared his excitement for his future,

“I am thrilled and blessed to be able to continue my academic and athletic career at Ashland University. I am excited to be able to help Coach Ron Allen and the team continue the work required to have Ashland as a regular fixture in top 10 at the NCAA National Championships again! I felt that the combination of the unique academic program offerings at Ashland, paired with the opportunity to help rebuild this program with my future teammates, were too good of an opportunity to pass up.  GO EAGLES!!”
