Australia Top 800 Free Relay Qualifier After Prelims at 2015 FINA World Junior Championships

Australia’s relay team of Samuel Young (1:51.80), Clyde Lewis (1:49.29), Mitchell Davenport-Wright (1:51.70) and Joshua Parrish (1:49.49) leads the qualifiers after prelims with a combined time of 7:22.28.

Spain’s Marc Vivas (1:51.76), Giullem Pujol (1:50.67), Joan Casanovas (1:51.15) and Cesar Castro (1:50.57) claimed the second place seed from heat two with a time of 7:24.15.

The relay team of Grant House (1:51.51), Matthew Hirschberger (1:50.99), Sean Grieshop (1:50.46) and Austin Katz (1:52.18) from the United States took third overall in prelims after posting a combined time of 7:25.14.

Brazil’s Giovanny Lima (1:49.31), Nathan Bighetti (1:51.82), Guilherme Costa (1:51.82) and Victor Furtado (1:52.33) finished close behind the USA with a final time of 7:25.28.

of Russia grabbed fifth overall in prelims overall with a final time of 7:25.53.

Canada took sixth with a time of 7:25.68, while Germany finished seventh overall with a time of 7:26.71.

China was eighth with a time of 7:26.80.
