Auburn’s swimming and diving programs will compete in seven dual meets and a total of five invitationals as head coach Brett Hawke announced the team’s schedule. Headlining the dual meets will be a pair of January road tests at Texas and Florida while the teams will again split up for a pair of invitationals in Georgia in late fall.

“I am excited about the young team that we have with the new freshmen mixed in with some very talented returnees,” Hawke said. “It’s a new year, a new team and I’m excited to get the ball rolling.”

Auburn’s dual meets will bring Tennessee and Wisconsin (Oct. 13-14), Texas A&M (Oct. 21) and Alabama (Oct. 27) to the James E. Martin Aquatics Center during the fall and will send the team to South Carolina (Nov. 4), Texas (Jan. 8) and Florida (Jan. 20).

“One of the highlights on the schedule this fall is a tri-meet with Wisconsin and Tennessee, two really well coached programs and very competitive teams,” Hawke said. “Having Alabama at home always adds to the level of intensity that we will experience in the fall.

“Leading into the championship season we will be on the road at Texas and Florida, two teams that always sharpen us and challenge us in ways that make us better,” Hawke said.

The men’s and women’s teams will split up for a pair of fall competitions, with the women going to the Georgia Tech Invitational Nov. 16-18 and the men going to the Georgia Invitational Dec. 1-3.

The divers will also compete in the Auburn (Dec. 17-19) and Tennessee (Jan. 3-5) Diving Invitationals.

The SEC Championships will be held Feb. 12-16 at Texas A&M.

The NCAA Diving Zones will be held March 5-7, with Auburn’s divers going to Knoxville, Tenn.

The women’s NCAA Championships will be held in Columbus, Ohio (Mar. 14-17) and the men’s in Minneapolis, Minn. (Mar. 21-24).
