Just this weekend, Heidenreich swam lifetime bests in the 100 backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle along with the 200 IM. At this weekend’s 2016 Arizona Division 1 High School State Championships, he took home the 200 IM state title by over a second. Representing Horizon High School, he then won the 100 breaststroke crown.

Heidenreich will join a University of Utah breaststroke group that will include seniors Jack BurtonGanem Tebet Baez, and Keith Schendel in the 2017-2018 season. For 200 IM training, Michael Thomas and Cole Avery will be juniors next fall.
