Haley Yelle has given her verbal commitment to Texas A&M. Yelle is an in-state talent for the Aggies. She is from Mansfield and swims for the Mansfield Aquatic Club.

Her best times are:

200/500/1650 Freestyle: 1:47.08/4:43.63/16:18.27

This summer, she was a finalist in the 400, 800, and 1500 freestyles at Junior Nationals. Yelle is also a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American.

Swimming for Mansfield Legacy at last year’s Texas High School 5A State Championship, she earned runner up finishes in the 200 (1:47.69) and 500 (4:47.86) freestyle. In 2015, she was also second in both events, touching in 1:47.08 and 4:46.97.

The Aggies took home the 2016 SEC Title. With her best times, Yelle should be set to score, even in such a deep conference. Last year, she would have finished eighth in the 500 freestyle, 13th in the 200 freestyle, and tenth in the 1650. Caitlyn Moon, who finished ninth in the mile, will be a senior when Yelle arrives on campus next fall.
