The ADN Swim Project, where such talents as Evgeny Korotyshkin and Milorad Cavic trained on the way to winning Olympic and world championship medals, is getting a new crop of athletes in time for the new season.

A group of the best junior swimmers in Russia and the Ukraine will spend time in Caserta, Italy, for an extended training session alongside some of the world’s best athletes. The young swimmers are coming from the Energy Standard team based in Moscow, which has featured such talents as Maryna Kolesnykova and Egor Kuimov in the past year.

Coaching this group will be Massimiliano Di Mito, who helped guide Federica Pellegrini to an Olympic medal in 2004 and Alice Mizzau to a relay medal at this month’s world championships. ADN leader Andrea Di Nino will be the technical director of the junior group in addition to his duties working to get his elite squad ready for the 2016 Olympic Games.
