2019 TYR Pro Swim Series Knoxville: Day Three Finals Heat Sheets; Melanie Margalis Scratches 200 Breast

Heat sheets have been posted for the third night of finals at the 2019 TYR Pro Swim Series in Knoxville, Tennessee. There will be six total individual events on the night with an additional mixed medley relay for the Swim Squads at the end of the night.

There was only one notable scratch that came from Melanie Margalis in the 200 breast. She was seventh after prelims this morning and she will put all her focus on the 400 free tonight, where she will swim in lane one in the A-Final.

The 200 fly, 50 free, 100 back, 200 breast, 50 fly and 400 free will be the individual events on hand with the likes of superstars Katie Ledecky, Michael Andrew, Ryan Murphy and Kathleen Baker in attendance.

A handful of other big names including rising stars Regan Smith, Gianluca Urlando, Carson Foster and Phoebe Bacon are in attendance along with seasoned veterans Hali Flickinger, Josh Prenot and Olivia Smoliga swimming in the meet.

There are also a number of international swimmers in attendance in Knoxville at the TYR Pro Swim Series with Canadian Olympians Penny Oleksiak, Kierra Smith and Rachel Nicol on deck as well as Danish Olympian Anton Ipsen.

Swimming World’s Andy Ross is on deck in Knoxville gathering interviews from the top athletes and Melissa Wolf is at the meet shooting photographs.

Finals will start at 6 p.m. EST from Knoxville and can be viewed live on the Olympic Channel and nbcsports.com.
