Dan Kelly Leads Boston College Past Boston, Eagle Women Fall To Terriers

After defeating Providence on the road on Friday, Boston College returned home to host Boston University on Saturday. The Eagle men beat the Terriers 168.5-131.5, while the women fell to Boston 211-88.

The team of Josh Williams, Mckenzie Cole, David Howard, and Dan Kelly won the men’s 200 medley relay (1:32.57) to begin the meet.

The Eagles took the top three spots in the men’s 1000, led by Anthony Richardson (9:41.48). Boston College also swept the women’s 100 breast, led by Maureen Barron (1:05.35). Barron later won the 50 free (23.92).

Conor Chamness won the men’s 100 back (50.49) and teammate John Mooers won the men’s 100 fly (50.84).

Kelly won both the men’s 50 free (20.80) and 100 free (45.61), and diver Cole Malatesta won the men’s 3m (362.85) and 1m (298.80).

The relay team of Kelly, Chamness, David Hunter, and Colin Derdeyn won the men’s 200 free relay (1:23.41) by over two seconds to conclude the meet.

Boston College returns to the pool on Feb. 6 as they compete in the UCONN Open.
