Gary Hall Jr. To Call It a Career -- November 15, 2008

ISLAMORADA, Florida, November 15. AFTER missing a berth on the 2008 Olympic Team during the U.S. Olympic Trials, Gary Hall Jr. famously said that "it was his last race…until his next race."

Well, according to an article by Sports Illustrated, his next race will not come in the standard venue as he is retiring from competitive swimming. Although, with how competitive Hall is, it would not be surprising to see him taking aim at some Masters world records for a change.

His other battle will be against a tougher opponent as Hall will have more time to devote to his fight against Diabetes.
