In a busier week than last, the Big 12 schools are back in action in preparation for a fast-approaching conference championship meet in about a month.

3 Top Storylines:

  1. The Texas Longhorns are expected to make quite a showcase at the Arena Pro Swim Series this weekend in their hometown of Austin, Texas. Junior and National Team Member Jack Conger is expected to do very well against some of the best of the best in the sport.
  2. In preparation for the multi-day conference championship, Iowa State hosts back-to-back dual meets on Friday against Illinois and on Saturday against DIII Washington University, St. Louis. More than anything, these meets will provide the swimmers valuable racing experience and an opportunity to begin to move into the championship season.
  3. Conference rivals TCU and West Virginia go head to head on Saturday in Fort Worth, Texas. Big 12 Swimmer of the Week winner senior Ford Story will lead the Horned Frogs against the Mountaineers, who have come off of a split weekend against Pitt.
