Ater eight finals on night two of World Champ Trials in Indianapolis, Swimming World was busy down on the deck, collecting 15 video interviews with swimmers who inked their names on the World Championships team.
Wednesday night interviews included Katie Ledecky, Leah Smith, Melanie Margalis and Cierra Runge (women’s 200 free), Townley Haas, Blake Pieroni and Zane Grothe (men’s 200 free), Lilly King and Bethany Galat (women’s 200 breast), Kevin Cordes and Nic Fink (men’s 200 breast), Kathleen Baker (women’s 200 back), Ryan Murphy and Jacob Pebley (men’s 200 back) and Kelsi Worrell (women’s 50 fly).
Additionally, earlier in the day, Swimming World caught up with Olivia Smoliga and Michael Chadwick, fresh off fifth-place finishes in the 100 free from night one that earned them relay bids for Budapest.
