The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) independent Compliance Review Committee (CRC) held their last meeting during the final week of August 2017 at their headquarters in Montreal, Canada.
At their last meeting they discussed several issues related to compliance with the World Anti-Doping Code (Code), which included:
- The status of the Russian National Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA), including what is still missing in terms of RUSADA’s roadmap for compliance, along with the operational capabilities and the implementation of the roadmap;
- A review and full-up of the completed Code Compliance Questionnaires (CCQ), submitted by International Federations (IFs) and National Anti-Doping Organizations (NADOs);
- An update on compliance audits that have been completed, are in progress, and planned under WADA’s Compliance Audit Program; and
- A review of comments received from the stakeholders on the draft International Standard for Code Compliance by Signatories (ISCCS).
The outcomes of these discussions will be reported on and discussed at the next meeting held by WADA’s Executive Committee on September 24th in Paris, France.
