Russia’s Vladimir Morozov was happy to get a chance at the 100 individual medley again. It is an event that is not always a part of international competition.

But it was at the Eindhoven World Cup stop, and Morozov made the most of it, setting a world record with a swim of 50.26.

His time broke the previous record of 50.30 that he also held, setting that mark in 2016.

Japan’s Daiya Seto finished second in 51.40, followed by Michael Andrew of the U.S. (51.76).

Kosuke Matsui of Japan followed with a 52.56, ahead of Kyle Stolk of the Netherlands (52.72).
