VIDEO: Katie Ledecky, Simone Manuel and Stanford Women on National Championship

What did it mean to Stanford’s women to capture the school’s first women’s NCAA swimming championship in 19 years? Swimming World asked four of the team’s top performers, Katie LedeckySimone ManuelElla Eastin and Lia Neal, immediately after they received their national championship trophy and took a celebratory dip in the pool.

All four explained the emotions in their head at the end of the final night as they pushed for the win and as Ledecky, Manuel, Eastin and then the 400 free relay team all captured national championships.
