At the conclusion of the men’s NCAA championships in Atlanta, South Carolina’s Tom Peribonio discussed his sixth-place finish in the 1650 free. Peribonio, who earned a spot on the awards podium despite swimming in an afternoon heat, explained how he stayed consistent throughout the race and discussed how training under coaches McGee Moody and Mark Bernardino has elevated his career.

Moody also spoke with Swimming World to wrap up a successful meet for the Gamecocks. He explained why he was so proud of his team and walked viewers through the efforts of both Peribonio and Akaram Mahmoud in the 1650
