Nathan Adrian performed admirably at his third Olympic Games in Rio, anchoring two American relays to gold medals and picking up two individual bronze medal, in both the 50 free and 100 free. At last week’s Golden Goggle awards in New York City, Adrian ended up winning Relay of the Year honors for his team’s efforts in the 400 free relay.

Prior to the awards show, Adrian discussed a variety of topics while making his way down the red carpet. He explained his choice of attire (a velvet jacket), gave his thoughts on the cold New York weather, explained what sort of “training” he has been up to in recent months and explained why he finds it tough to pick a favorite moment from the Olympic Games.
